Warbirds Over Long Island
Warbirds Over Long Island is a not for profit organization located on Long Island, NY, dedicated to the presentation of World War II planes and the history that surrounds them. It is their belief that in order to properly pay homage to the heroes who flew these magnificent machines we must put forth our best efforts to keep them flying proud so that their legacy may live on through posterity. Warbirds Over Long Island is very active in the air show circuit and attends more than fifteen shows a season. While some organizations question the risk of flying the vintage fighter planes, Bob and Chris Baranaskas believe the only way to truly appreciate the planes is to see them in flight...only in flight can one see the real beauty of what that generation created. The McGuire AFB Air Expo will feature a P-40, P-51, and Stearman aircraft.
